Nathan Lagacy, LCPC, CMPC

 

Nathan works as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, and is also a Certified Mental Performance Consultant for the Association for Applied Sport Psychology. As a clinical therapist he completed his graduate work at Adler University. Nathan has spent the past four years working as a full time therapist dealing with a variety of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, PTSD, ODD, ADHD, anger management, Bipolar Disorder, and others. He also has experience with issues related to children adjustment to divorce, relational issues, and stress management. Nathan has experience as a mental performance consultant in working with teams, individual athletes, and performers in a multitude of sports/performance realms to develop skills to create consistency, and optimal performance.

 

As a youth he participated in soccer, baseball, basketball, football, and track. He played collegiate football during his undergraduate degree. As an adult he continues to be very involved in health and wellness, along with playing sports recreationally. He is a big believer in the impact that health, wellness, physical activity and sports can have upon increasing happiness to live life to the fullest.  

Samantha Newsome, LPC

 

Samantha is a Licensed Professional Counselor and completed her graduate work at Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights. Samantha has spent the last three years working as a therapist at Trinity Christian College and the DuPage County Health Department. She has worked with clients dealing with a variety of mental health issues that include depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, personality disorders, ADHD, life changing events, and PTSD. Samantha has experience not only working with individuals (children and adults) but couples and families as well.

Samantha has a kind and warm approach to all her clients and meets them where they are currently at. She hopes to walk with them on their therapeutic journey and journey of self discovery. She believes that just as important as our physical health is, so is our mental health. They truly go hand in hand. She hopes to educate that to all who she comes in contact with!
